First 5k ever!

Well, I've done it, I finished my first official race. I ran in the Flat-Out 5k in Broomfield, CO on Saturday, it was a qualifying race for the Bolder Boulder 10k which I will partake in at the end of this month (memorial day). The track was a bit more difficult then I expected it to be, lots of up hill running. I finished though, and received a qualifying time for the Bolder Boulder. I did not do as well as I wanted to, but oh well, what can I do for my first race. Now I just need to keep training for the Bolder Boulder, and then after that for Navy OCS!
